Corwin Cemetery is located in Newfane, NY. Obituaries mention burials in Corwin Cemetery back to 1879 on FultonHistory.com.
According to the Niagara County Cemeteries Directory, Corwin records burned in 1931.1 A news article from 9 February 1931 stated that a large brick dwelling that was owned by Glenn H. Corwin and occupied by the Frank Seeloff family was destroyed by flames.2 The house (which was 70 years old at the time of the fire) must have been where the early cemetery records were stored.
